  • Cerámica Para Todos in collaboration with Pitirre Proyectos

    Cerámica para Todos, in collaboration with Pitirre Proyectos offers scholarships for workshops in Puerto Rico led by internationally renowned ceramic artists. This initiative provides local artists with the opportunity to learn from global experts, fostering creativity, skill development, and cultural exchange.

  • De Puerto Rico A Penland in partneship with Penland School of Craft

    This one-month program offers two ceramic artists from Puerto Rico the opportunity to travel to the mountains of Western North Carolina for an immersive learning experience. The internship begins with two weeks at Córdova Studios, where participants engage in studio practice and mentorship, followed by a two-week hands-on ceramics workshop at the Penland School of Craft.

  • Figurative Ceramics and Cultural Narratives - University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

    In collaboration with University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, we led a unique project focused on figurative ceramics.
    This project included an 8-week course in sculptural ceramics through which students created a series of expressive sculptures, a group exhibition and a collaborative piece, all centered on exploring the rich intersection between identity and form.

    Center for the Study of Figurative Ceramics founder Cristina Córdova has developed and collaborated on projects with Penland School of Craft through a shared commitment to ceramics education and the support of emerging artists. Together, these collaborations reflect a deep dedication to fostering creativity, strengthening craftsmanship, and expanding the possibilities of contemporary expression in ceramics.

  • Book: The Figure In Clay by Cristina Córdova

    In our book we explore the human form in depth, from concept sketches and armatures to detailed instructions for constructing legs, torso, arms, hands, and head from clay.

  • Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture Courses - Domestika

    We created two online course for Domestika to explore the art of figurative sculpture.
