5 Day Intensive: The Full Standing Figure

OCTOBER 9-12 (Wednesday-Saturday) and NOVEMBER 10, 2024(SUNDAY)

All Levels

Designed to give you all you need to begin sculpting the full standing figure. Whether you are a beginner, looking for a solid foundation or experienced, and looking to deepen your figure sculpting practice, this class is for you. Using the Cordova Method, created by founder and instructor Cristina Cordova, students will be guided through figure construction from clay slabs using simple patterns. Slabs are assembled, manipulated, sculpted and detailed to bring the figure to life. This concentrated learning period, with expert guidance, personalized feedback, and the energy of community will give you the seeds and support needed to help your practice flourish.

The class spans four days of live demonstrations, with daily feedback supported by prerecorded material. After the initial four days, students will work independently for the remainder of the month, receiving ongoing email support. We will then come together for an online show and tell, where we will share practices to renew our artistic voice and stay committed to our creative journey.
